Here's another free printable for all of you to frame and use as cheap Holiday art!

(credit- House of 3 for the awesome 4th of July brushes!)
It's sized as an 8 x 10, so you can upload it to a photo printer like Walgreens (or for high quality, awesome metallic prints go to Persnickety Prints); or just print at home on with white card stock, or my personal favorite- manila folders.

You can also print out our 4th of July Pennants to add even more spice to your house!

Hello Holidays Week: Independence Day 1

Happy Monday everyone! We will be dedicating this week Hello Holidays style to decorating your home for the 4th of July!

Miss Mustard Seed has some fabulous ideas about how to bring in the Patriotic Spirit into your house

I've always loved the vintage look of buntings for the 4th and now I can make my own!

And how festive would your table look with flags, daisies, and homemade lemonade be? For the best lemonade, follow this recipe:

I love the vanilla infused with the lemons; to add a little zing add fresh mint leaves!

Tutorial Tuesday- Mirrored Side Table

I have a good friend who asked me a few months ago if she could hire me to decorate her house.

I am NOT an interior decorator.

I AM an idea collector. She likes the feel of my house and the ideas I've diligently collected on Pinterest enough to trust me with giving her house some new life. And I am having the time of my life doing it!

Her house is coming together slowly but surely, and she needs an accent piece to go in her front room. I saw these mirrored side tables on Miss Mustard Seed and fell head over heels in love with them.

Now I am in search for a nightstand to give the mirrored treatment to. If you want to make your own mirrored end table to use in your Living Room or your Bedroom, follow Miss Mustard Seed's Tutorial and "move mountains in your home".  I love that saying.

Makeover Monday: My Master Bedroom

So.... remember when I was going to repaint my guest bath? Yeah..... I changed my mind.

This is the terrifying sight that confronted me Saturday morning. My old baby changer I scored about a year ago at a yard sale, now used for storage a mountain of crap. My entire bedroom in general has turned into a storage facility and an overgrown junk drawer. After living with it for years, I finally decided to take action.

It's actually a makeover in progress- I've only painted half the room, but so far I love love love it.

The breakdown:
-This makeover has started off wonderful- FREE! We had some leftover paint from our Interior Decorating client that Braden did some work for last week so we just used that to paint 3 walls. We also have some leftover grey that is darker in our garage from a few years ago when Braden painted another clients home. So we're using what we have, saving money, and also giving our bedroom a much needed makeover.

- Our neighbors are trading us some leftover baseboard in exchange for Braden to paint theirs so we'll be putting in some gorgeous new baseboard hopefully this week!

If you are wanting to save some money on some paints and don't have a specific color in mind, you can visit the Oops section in Home Depot that have paint people have returned or they messed up and see what you can do with your options.

Our pegboard was purchased a few months ago to house all my clipboards of all my projects I have going on. I love how organized the space looks now, and I can't wait to get a sewing desk put in there! I have been on the hunt for the perfect 9 or 12 drawer dresser to paint and cute the center out of so I can keep my sewing machine out all the time and store my fabric collection. If anyone has one for sale- holla at me!

Weekend Pinterest Round Up- Edition #5

I'm thinking this weekend I want to freshen up my guest bathroom. We updated our Master Bathroom a couple of months ago and I fell so in love with it, I'm ready to tackle my guest bath. Let's gather up some ideas, shall we?
