$6

We shared all of these wonderful printables with our hello there! house guests, and now you all know where to find more! If you need more banner printouts to go across your whole mantle, or want to get the rest of the cone designs to give out as treat holders for neighbors, or if you wanted a specific label in your Hello! Holidays kits, hop on over to Rhonna Designs and grab one of these kits!

Banners:
These are so simple to do & look totally fabulous, just cut and hot glue on some Divine Twine! You can make them even fancier with some extra elements glued on or by printing them on fabric! I laminated my banners to hang outside my bay window!

Candy Cones:
We cut and hot glued to our hearts content- no tutorial needed! We hot glued some Divine Twine to the side of the Candy Cones and glued some of the extra elements onto the cones, and VOILA! lovely Candy Cones!

There are more examples of fabulous Candy Cones on the Rhonna Designs Blog- I love the mini cones in a frame from Nancy

Labels:
These are so versatile, they can be used for anything! We printed ours on full sheet label "sticker" paper so we can stick them on invitations, envelopes, jars full of candy, windows, anything you want to have some Halloween Cheer on!

There you have it folks- some fast, fun, & cheap holiday decor that you can use forever and ever! Easy peasy Lemon Squeezy!

Inside hello there! house: Gardening Virgins with Kelly

Kelly's gardening class absolutely blew me away. I have been yearning to have a garden for the past 4 years since we moved back to Mesa from Queen Creek, but I was always so scared to start because I had no idea what I was doing. Kelly gave so much information about how to start vegetable gardening here in AZ.

She made everything sound so fun, and really got the point across that gardening is a science. If something dies, you don't give up- you start over and change your variables and try something new until you make it work. Following directions is an important part of the process, but experimenting and observing is too.

Here is her powerpoint, which I am so thankful we have because I couldn't record that much information in my mind.

She was dishing out pearls of wisdom last weekend people, and she had some amazing handouts that I'm sure she'd share with anyone- just email her if you have any questions!

Inside hello there! house: Design Styles with Colleen

Our event kicked off with the gorgeous Colleen Lemons, a Phoenix interior designer who really know her stuff, guys. She's the real deal- she's worked on amazing multi-million dollar projects for big name companies, but she really understands the "real people" that are craving beautiful design even though they don't have QUITE as big of budgets *ahem*. We just loved her class, and her spunk, she's just a peach and her class was filled to the brim with extremely useful information and inspiring visuals. Here's a little peek of her intro to her class:

This second video was my FAVORITE part of her class- the stories she makes up for people's lives when she designs is so charming I can't even take it.

Here is her Powerpoint {Keynote for you Mac users} she shared with the class. We're so happy she was a part of our event, we just love her to bits.

Can't get enough of Colleen? Go ahead and stalk her like we do!

Breast Cancer Fundraiser with Wood Creations Furniture

You guys, we are less than twelve hours away from the kick off of the inaugural hello there! house home & garden event and with that kick off comes the start of our initiative to contribute to breast cancer research.
Throughout the event, we will be selling $5 raffle tickets, the entire proceeds of which, will go directly to the Susan G. Komen foundation for breast cancer awareness and research.
What are those spicy little raffle tickets good for? Well a generous $200 gift certificate donation from Wood Creations Furniture is what those spicy little raffle tickets are good for.
Peruse their website and gallery to see just a few examples of the many styles and finishes available for the quality home furnishings they have to offer. You just may win a $200 gift certificate to spend at your discretion!
We thank BJ Powell and the entire Wood Creations Furniture family for their generosity and willingness to not only donate a bountiful gift certificate to our conference attendees, but to their awesome hearts in raising awareness for breast cancer research.
If you weren’t able to snag a ticket to the event and participate in the raffle, we would still love to collect online donations of any denomination throughout the duration of the conference. Your contribution is greatly appreciated by all those who have been directly or indirectly affected by the horrendous disease that is breast cancer. We thank you for all you do to promote awareness and research initiatives.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

Ya'll. hello there! house is on FRIDAY.

Everyone is scurrying around, prepping for their classes and we've had some last minute changes to deal with (doesn't that always seem to be the case with everything?)

We had one teacher have to bow out unexpectedly and another teacher having to be in her store due to an employee shortage, so we will be moving those classes to the beginning of the new year with our Monthly hello there! house classes {more on this development later!}

So due to these unforeseen changes we have shuffled things around a bit and come up with our new Event Schedule! This new schedule features more group classes for everyone to enjoy and participate in- so if you were dying to take a certain class but it was offered during the same time as another class you were dying to attend you are in luck!

If you are attending the event and have not chosen your classes yet, please visit hthclassregistration.eventbrite.com to choose your classes!
